“I purchased sight unseen, but I trust LG, on the web I have not found satisfactory reviews. I pointed to this TV I tried … I have to say that the price on amazon was the lowest of the web, and I bought.
At that price a full HD, LCD, USB dvx hd, hdmi 3 and all analog, aesthetically nice, glossy black, I can not ask for more.
The image quality is high, deep blacks, whites very good, accurate color, typical of LG colorimetry, color very good, I have set in minutes with wizards. But even just connected and responded well to say “good morning starts in the morning”
The spoken audio is clear and without distortion or strange rumblings, not “screaming” for a film but the effects are lost, but up to now, a flat TV that does not need an external audio kit I have not found it yet.
The best thing is the SCALING UP, I did various tests, namely digital TV watching is not HD, and analog, the municipality of DVD rentals, and even a divx to a reduced size it is surprising how does the scaling up, a few yards we forget that they are low-resolution signals, proportionate to the full HD screen.
Zapping (changing channels) is very fast, I was surprised”

The model is the consegnatomi 32lk430-zg with which it would seem impossible to manually change the order of TV channels. I contacted LG customer support Italy for a firmware update, but I was told that the model in question is not sold by LG Italy and therefore I contact the seller from whom you purchased it, for assistance. Amazon. it around the answer to the hope of a solution to the problem.”

     “These are my first impressions after a couple of days.
We are totally satisfied and wowed. First of all the angle of view is just as good as plasma. There is absolutely no degradation of the picture from even extreme side angels. The setup was easy and LG’s onboard program for adjusting the picture to our preferences was easy.
We haven’t even watched 3d source content, but are totally blown away the the up conversion from 2D to 3D. We have watched TV HD sources for the “Oceans” series (lots of underwater shots) and Blu-ray DVDs for arial tours of Italy. Both were amazing. The underwater shots looked liked we were actually looking through the window of a submarine, and the arial shots like we were actually looking through a window of a helicopter. Our hats are off to the LG software developers!
The effect is like looking through a window, however, as all the depth of field is created from the screen to the distance. Nothing jumps out at you into the room, but the effect is very realistic for depth of field.
I have followed the active vs. passive 3D debate and I’m very fussy about my HD viewing. That being said, the 3D viewing is a very slight downgrade, maybe 10%, but the 3D effect more than makes up for it when watching the right programs. No problems with headaches. You can look around the room with the lightweight glasses on and nothing appears any different. 2D viewing is most excellent with no motion blur.

We are more than satisfied with the TV. The price on Amazon was the best we could find and the free delivery two days after ordering was a bonus. This is a large TV and you do not want to lug the box home in you car.”

2d image quality is also perfect and the overall experience with the tv is great.

        “returned my Vizio and got the LG. What a huge difference. This TV is great. Picture great, with little adjustment necessary. Sound is great, at least compared to similar flat screens. Internet apps and browser are fun and 3D with cheap, included, glasses is great. Only complaint is that this TV needs analog audio outputs. It has headphone and digital outputs only. First one arrived physically damaged as the LG packaging is not really good enough for shipping. Amazon got me a replacement in 2 days. I had to ship the first one back, a pain, but that is mail order….”

     “The great price sold me – especially after reading the other reviews. But when we turned on the TV – the picture quality was breathtaking. It clearly beats my smaller Sony bravia. The 3d is amazing – even the 3D effect for non 3D shows is pretty neat. Having the wireless internet feature is also fun – I watched a streaming video from netflix – which had a great picture but my dsl internet connection was too slow so it needed to stop and build the buffer every 5-10 minutes. The only feature that could be better on the TV is the sound. Mine is in a big family room with ceramic floor tiles, and if there is any background noise, like a bunch of females talking, the sound gets lost. That was easily fixed by connecting to my surround sound system and the sound now sounds great! Everyone that has seen the set in work is amazed at the quality of the picture. I’d recommend this to anyone.”

        “This TV is really nice looking and super lightweight. Right out of the box and hooked up to Cable, free local HD looks Phenomenal! SD looks really good too. I’ve seen a lot of HD TV’s and this picture is the best I’ve seen! No tweaking. Just changed the picture mode to “vivid” and it looks unbelievable. Save your money and get 60 mz. There’s no difference. And it doesn’t have the weird effects some 120 hz have. I really like the menu on this too. It’s all in a circle onscreen that rotates…really cool and simple feature.          “price is good for the size. We have bought the 32 inch 32LD350 and we loved it so we bought another LG product. This TV looks great except for a minor dark corner borders about 3 inches in, although it’s not really that noticable.

The intelligent sensor is great for at night. It’ll seem really dark at first but it takes about 5 minutes for your eyes to get used to it and is very pleasant on the eyes (at first you’ll be thinking that it’s so dark, how can you see anything, but just try it for 5 minutes). Try turning it back on to standard and it’ll look so bright that it gets uncomfortable.

I’m a novice at calibrating the TV but the built-in self calibration wizard is great, it looks a lot better than the standard settings.”

       “We ordered the Vizio through Amazon just as we did our Samsung a year earlier. All went perfectly which is way above my expectations. We had Directv bring over a cable to feed it HD and Voila!, worked and continues to work perfectly. The picture is second to none (we haven’t tried the 3D yet so no comments regarding that, and actually don’t care that much). In 2D this thing will knock your eyes out (in a good way).

Believe it or not, the TV sound is great. It’s twice the sound quality of my Samsung. It’s perfect for anyone who doesn’t necessarily want an additional sound system. I’ve only had it up to about 30%, but that’s very loud for us.

The widgets start-up is slower than molasses, but I think that’s a function of most TVs in general. Once they load up, they’re very responsive and easy to use. We called Vizio customer service…they spoke American English and were patient and courteous; terrific, they helped us get the widgets started.

We did use the price matching service offered by Amazon and again, they did exactly what they said they would do.

After a few months of owning this TV, I have only compliments and strongly recommend Vizio. Now if only that Sony Wega in the bedroom would die….”

            “My wife and I were blown away by this amazing TV. The 480Hz refresh rate completely does away with motion blur. It took a few days to get used to how real everything looked without the blur. We watched Avatar in 3D on it and the color and detail were incredible. In those fast scenes like when they’re running over the high branch or when they’re flying by and the ground is a blur, with this TV there was no blur, we could see the plants and animals in great detail in the distance. We like watching movies on it better than going to the theater, because everything looks better.”

         “We ordered this set on 8/25 and it arrived on 8/27 (a Saturday delivery no less!). Took it out of the box and had it set up in less than 10 minutes. After turning it on, the television’s initial on-screen set up was easy to follow and really took very little time.

The only reason that I marked the picture quality at a 4 is because it appears a little on the dark side for my old eyes. Adjusting the back lighting helped a bit. Color is excellent. Sound is very good. This is such an improvement over the Vizio we had. I have always liked Panasonic and am hoping that the old quality is still there.

Given the bad experience we had with the Vizio, I did purchase the 4-year insurance agreement that was on the same page…I’m just not taking any chances on this one. That was a very easy setup process to go through as well. I hope to never need it.”

       “Just picked up one of these new VIZIO’s and I really like it! The 1080p picture is crisp, and the sound is great. I tried another 32 Inch VIZIO and hated it, plus it threw out a ton of heat. This tiny VIZIO is razor thin, yet provides a full bright picture and does not get hot. It hits 125 degrees out here, and I just fried my old Dell. Just as well, it got red hot, wasn’t 1080p, but swiveled and adjusted. I resent these newer cheaper TV’s don’t offer this feature. The optimum viewing angle for me is off a little, however the previous Phillips 22 Inch HDTV I just returned turned into a negative if you weren’t sitting directly in front of it. 200 glowing reviews here so I bought it and thought it looked worse than a 70′s TV. Thank you Amazon for your excellent free 30 day return policy too. Since this is a new unit not even available for sale at the VIZIO site yet (“coming soon”), it is hard to compare pricing or reviews. However you can’t go wrong with this Model. Also I would like to thank Amazon for the unusual quick 2 day processing and delivery, even with the free super saver shipping. I’ve waited as long for a confirmation email!”

      “First of all, I did not buy this from Amazon or one of it affiliates. When our bedroom TV croaked, I went to Amazon first to check prices on several 22″ TVs. Then Costco. But, since we were heading to town I figured I’d check Walmart which was right on our route. We found this exact TV model for over $55 LESS than the Amazon affiliate vendor. I often get the best deal on Amazon, but not this time.

This is a fine small TV for a kitchen or bedroom. Clear and crisp picture. Lots of input/output options. Sharp looking. Front facing speakers are pretty good for a small TV…. not great sound, but what do you expect from a small package. The volume is better than our previous TV which had to be turned up all the way when used off the satellite… this one 75% volume is adequate without distortion.”

“This is an absolutely amazing TV!

I have to punch a big hole in my own credibility though…I’m coming off a 65″ Mitsubishi projection TV I’ve had for nearly ten years.

But I did do plenty of research and the UN60D8000 was the best value taking into consideration all of the features & specifications versus the price.

There is mention of micro-dimming problems, edge bleed, picture uniformity, and screen glare in some reviews. I honestly can’t distinguish any issues with the micro-dimming, or any edge-bleed or even picture uniformity (again, 65″ projection for 10 yrs!). The screen is pretty glossy; but, I purchased an articulating wall mount (Unibrak UNB550). So any glare is easily removed by a slight tilt or swivel of the screen.

There was also mention that there’s no support for 5.1 surround sound through the SmartHub functionality. This would definitely be an issue for me, but I picked up an LG LHB976 Blu-ray home theater system w/Smart TV & integrated Wi-Fi. This device connects to every media source that the Samsung UN60D8000 does & more, all in perfect 5.1 surround sound.

Word of warning: This TV is so crystal clear, it’s almost unbearable to watch anything in SD. Regular Cable looks horrible on this TV, HD cable is not bad, DVDs are good, video games are fantastic…but the detail of a Blu-ray disc will blow you away!! Netflix, Hulu, & Amazon Prime all look great (in HD).

Make sure you pick up a few high speed HDMI cables & try to remember that life’s still going on around you as you become absorbed in this incredible viewing experience  ”

One side of the remote is a full qwerty keyboard, while the other side is more of a conventional remote. Not to mention that you can watch 3D TV without the need of a 3D converter, which was needed in older 3D TV’s.

  “did an extensive search across the whole LED television market for a good 4 months before finally deciding to purchase this TV and I have to say I am 100% happy with this TV. I have had it for a month now and love it. It has excellent clarity but also excellent sound quality, especially when compared to other LED’s. Since LED’s are so thin, they normally are not strong when it comes to sound performance, however, the E30′s quality is great. Combine all of that with the fact that this TV is priced at under $700 at Amazon and you have the best mid-level LED TV. I was comparing it with the Sharp 830 and the Sony ex700 and this one is by far superior. I would have been willing to pay just as much for this TV, as I would have for those two, around $100. But again buying this at $660 allowed me to get a nice TV stand and couches for around the same price. It was by far my best purchase this year”

       “This is our family’s first HDTV, and I’m quite pleased with the purchase. We don’t have cable or satellite, so our primary viewing is OTA: the tuner on this unit pulls in stations much more clearly than the digital converter we were using with our old set. Changing the channel is a lot quicker now, too. DVD and Wii look great, looking forward to adding a Blu-Ray player soon. We also stream Amazon Instant Video, great selection. Setup was a breeze. You know how you sometimes skip a part of a setup because you just aren’t ready to do it, then when you are ready you get lost in the menu structure trying to figure out how to get back to setting up that feature? Not a problem with this one, the menues are well laid out.

My biggest concern with our TV room is the glare. We have a lot of ambient light, but for casual daytime viewing it’s not a problem with this set. If we’re watching a movie or other “serious” viewing during daylight, closing the curtains solves most of the issues.

Sound from the speakers is adequate for TV viewing, but that’s the only thing we use them for. Everything else is run through the receiver.

The only thing I don’t like about the set is the remote control. I really don’t like long and skinny remotes, and I wish they’d put the number pad on top and menu/selection buttons on bottom. But after I added the TV to my Harmony remote, I rarely have to pick up the Panny remote.

I recommend this set. Great service from Amazon, too. Due to fortunate geography, I ordered on Saturday and received it on Monday. When the price dropped a week after I ordered it, there was no hassle in getting the 14-day price guarantee refund.”
